A builders clean is a thorough and specialised cleaning service designed for newly constructed buildings. Tek Clean is fully insured to undertake any works within our purview, including working at heights. We hold public liability insurance up to 20 million dollars.

All of our team hold relevant tickets required to access your site and complete their relevant work. This includes white cards, working at heights, twin rope access, yellow cards and high risk boom licenses. We are also able to provide police checks and working with children checks for our employees.

Our builders clean process is designed to provide a comprehensive service that meets all of your requirements. While the specific steps can vary based on the project and client's requirements, here is a general overview of the builders clean process:

Initial Assessment.

You send through plans and we evaluate the scope of work and your specific cleaning requirements.

Variables of the job, such as height of construction, are evaluated and you are provided an approximate price guide.

Meeting with client

We meet the you on site (if possible) and talk about the specific steps and outcomes you would like from your builders clean. We work to create a rough schedule and identify and discuss any hazards and potential challenges of the clean.

Detailed quote and schedule

We send you with a detailed quote and schedule of your builders clean. During this stage we provide dates for different stages of the clean (although we understand this can change) and discuss any safety controls or access plans for your clean.

Clean with scaffolding (Multi-level builds)

Typically this stage involves cleaning the windows and frames of multi-level projects. If scaffolding is not present as part of the project, rope access or elevated work platforms can be used as part of the builders clean stage.

Builders Clean

We complete a detailed clean of all surfaces, floors, ground level windows, and fixtures removing any construction residue so your project is pristine and ready for handover.

Handover clean (optional)

Often finishing touches are being made to projects after a builders clean is completed. This can of course mean dust and other materials are left on your project. During a handover clean we return to site just prior to handover to make all floors, surfaces, fittings, cabinetry and windows sparkle. This process also includes a re-clean of any second storey windows accessed via scaffolding earlier in the project.
